一年一度抽签的日子又到了哦*_*新年新愿望抽个好兆头
马国政府引以为荣的新关卡，在第三天的运作下，有两台自动扶梯，经不起马国人民的践踏，睡过头，无法及时苏醒，为人民服务！哈哈.... 今天过马国关卡指数！五粒星！不错，不用花时间排队，三两下就过关。 巴士platform似乎变本加厉！太多人了。 多亏政府，每天4km的晨运.. 可为我接下来的Marathon做好充分的准备！
7:04am: Start walking from the new bus platform of "New Custom" (Because over crowded, long long queue for CW and 950, and NO QUEUE for bus 170) 7:15am: Reach causeway. 7:25am: Reach SG custom. By the way, I spent just 5min at sg custom to clear my access card + inspection clearance. Total distance from JB new custom to SG new custom: 2.2km. Total distance from Citisq, walk to JB new custom bus platform: 1.5km.

Squeezed in, get through door, hard to find access card queuing line or maybe there isn't a line. After passing through the access card region. You think you can get pass the next gate easily?!?!?! 
Oh can't walk. People stuck at the gate..... wait wait wait ... bus not moving ... wait wait wait. Finally my turn to get on the bus. Start relief. You think easy to get through the next gate!

From the below example,
3% saved from EPF = RM 120
Per annum = RM 1440
Assuming we are at tax category %3 (not sure if 3% is correct...next category is 7% if I remember correctly) and this RM 1440 does not cause our taxable income to fall under higher tax % category, then RM 1440 is taxable by 3%.
RM 1440 * 3% = RM 43.2
if it cause us fall under higher category, then
RM 1440 * 7% = RM 100.8
Its true that government will earn no matter how.
So this mail has brought us to our attention. I will definitely not enroll for 8%.
Assume monthly basic salary is RM4000.
- If your monthly EPF contribution is 11% ( RM440 ), taxable income = RM3560, income tax payable = RM77.
- If your monthly EPF contribution is 8% ( RM320 ), taxable income = RM3680, income tax payable = RM109.
Conclusion : If you choose to contribute 8%, you will end up paying more income tax to the government, which will make the government richer. Finance Minister Najib said this measure is meant to boost up the slow-down market, but from this example wee see that the money does not go into the market. Instead the money goes direct into the government's pocket through the greater amount of income tax that we will have to pay. Obviously this measure does not help the market at all. I just learned today! There are possible plans underway to apply to the Oxford and Webster to include a new word for their 2009 dictionary:
badawi [baa-daa-wee] (noun): To start something full of promise but end in disappointment, failure and/or disaster.
Eg:
